So that's what we're here for. God loves your children. He wants them to succeed. I love your children. And, it's just, it's so wonderful to see them grow from these, little ones to the, these human beings who. How their own thoughts and minds sometimes you're like I don't know, yeah, they can be a little testy sometimes, but it's interesting to look back and when they were a baby or they were two years old and and now who they are and it's Whoa, that is really amazing.
God, you are an amazing God. And I am so happy that you are sharing your time with me and that you're here to get some sort of inspiration motivation. Aspiration. Just breathe. Just breathe, girl. Just breathe.
We're going to start with reading the poem, Silver, Sapphire, or Gold, comes out of my book, Jaundiced View, Desire, Love, Hate, Religion. Yes, that is a statement. We desire love. God is love and we hate religion, meaning we don't like all those rules and regulations. That keep us from God. That's all I mean by that.
I love all denominations, species, whatever you want to call it. As long as you're getting me to God, as long as I can get to God I'm good. It's yes. Okay. Don't be putting this rule and that little rule and you can't read your Bible and you can't pray. What? That's not true. That, that's what it's the Bible.
Jesus says, pray when you pray it's not only the ruler who can pray or read the Bible or decipher the world the word Jesus says, my sheep hear my voice. And another, they will not heed. My sheep hear my voice. I believe that's in John chapter 10. So as his sheep, we hear his voice and we're going to listen to this poem right now and hear this poem.
I'm going to read the entire poem. It's a kind of lengthy poem, and then we're going to go back and start off where we left And finish up silver, sapphire, or gold. Here we go. This is the poem, Silver, Sapphire, or Gold. Is true love silver, sapphire, or gold? Is true love accepting failures of aspired? How do I know if my true love is near?
Rancor through many prospects, hoping to find The love of my dreams, is there such a being? Please guide me to unending luminance of love. I feel hope to find, but succumb to despair. Why does love constitute many broken hearts? In order to arrive at the true love destined for and thought. Why not settle for various positive characteristics instead of casting this love away?
What can I say? There is an undying hope deep within my chest. I am hoping for the best. Is this quest unfathomable? Surely fateful belief shall bring me peace. If not, I shall succumb in pain of desire of an undying love fueling my ravenous fire. Sure he is out there, waiting to pour out his unending love for me.
Occurrence proved love's lower degree. My feelings were those of gratitude and ultimate despair. Another love story ends in flares. Unbridled pain and dying dreams, Love Eternal exhilarates his themes. Farewell, love of mine. I'm hoping to find unconditional love divine. With a faithful soul so sent for me, for this very goal is undying seas.
Should I settle for silver or sapphire or gold? That is the story told, so promising and bold. Why do I doubt the existence of the sea? Is it not I? Incomplete destiny? I'm looking for eternal love to share, making love aware, stable, and fair. Brisk air takes me there for my eternal love to share. And that is the poem, Silver Sapphire.
or gold. So much heartfelt emotion in this poem. Wow, I was really feeling it. I can see myself sitting at, sitting in my little study and my apartment during college, right there on Magazine Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ah, sitting at my desk and my little laptop typing up these words. So many wounds being healed through the words of these poems.
So much heartbreak being just melted over and allowing me to go on with life, with love, with living as best as I could. Sure he is out there. Sure. Waiting to pour out his unending love for me. This is my one true love. Where is he? He's out there. Snow White got her prince. Cinderella.
All of the Disney queens or princesses? Where's my prince? Occurrence proved love's lower degree. My feelings were those of gratitude and ultimate despair. Another love story ends in flares. So here I'm talking about a young man or a man Who came into my life and eh It's like he liked you. Have you ever had someone like you and you're just like, you don't really like them. It wasn't reciprocal. It wasn't like this. No. That's how this particular love was. And it just wasn't a match. It wasn't a thing. It was very self serving love. It just wasn't anything there. There was no love.
Unbridled pain and dying dreams. Love Eternal exhilarates his themes. So what do right there? Love Eternal. He's talking about marriage. I'm like, I'm not even in love with you. Oh, and I know there are many nations out there who they, what he, they have the arranged marriages. And so it may not be about love at first and they grow to love each other, what have you.
I understand all that, but that's not what's happening here in America. That's, that wasn't what I grew up with. So I had my choice, I had a choice to do this, to marry the person who I fell in love with or not. You can marry someone you're not in love with, you can, there's other reasons people get married other than love, it could be money, it just could be a job, it could be situation, there's other reasons other than love, yeah, and that's a choice, that's your personal choice, no one's stopping you from that or putting you toward that, you have free will as an adult to marry whom you want to marry.
However that's a very important word, however, you want the one God has for you. You want that love to fuel your ravenous fire. You want the perfect love God has for you. There's a reason God put people together. There's a reason God made Eve for Adam, and I believe if he made you for someone, if you're a woman, and if you're a man, he made someone for you.
Now I'm saying woman and man, if you're a teenager, you're a boy, girl, someone is God made for you. A boy for you and a girl was made for some boy. That's how God works. That's how he did Adam and Eve. So there must be one. And I've thought about this so much all my life, so much. And God, he allowed me to know that this is how it works later on.
Very recently, even I have. Gotten much revelation in this area when the Lord revealed to me my own love and who this man was or is. And it was heart wrenching. It was, Whoa, did I cry? Yes, because we did not end up in each other's arms like we should have. So just because God makes you for someone doesn't necessarily mean you're going to end up with them unless you follow God.
You have to follow the Lord. You have to wait on God and don't rush into a relationship. I really don't even think teenagers really need to be necessarily dating. That's just how I feel. I just don't, I don't really, I'm not, look, I know that there are people who fall in love as teenagers and perhaps they get married and it works out for them.
But just don't rush it. You still need to graduate. You need, there's things that need to happen. And, you might be saying she or Chante, some people don't graduate. Okay. Some people go on, maybe they got a business, they started a business, they don't need to graduate. I understand that.
But what I'm saying is you need to take time to mature into this love. Nothing wrong with that. And if this person really loves you, then he'll wait. There's a story in a Bible about a couple. Named Jacob and Rachel and Jacob loved Rachel so much. Do you know how many years he waited for her? For her love?
Seven years. Seven years. Yes, seven. Five plus two. Seven years. And you know what the Bible says? How Jacob felt about Rachel? That it would just seem like a few days. Because his love for her was so great. So if a man cares for you, if a boy cares for you, he'll wait. He's not going to force you into sex or into the bed, to the bedroom, to have sex with him or wherever.
No, that's not respectful. That's not respecting you, your body, your mind, your soul. He's trying to take your strength away. No, just wait. And if it's true, It will be there for you waiting because you obey God, you decided to wait, remain holy,
get married first, then have sex. It, yes, that happens.
It sure does. That happens every day. Someone has waited until they got married to have sex. It does. It happens. It might be rare, but it does happen.
And I hear the stories I hear about people who waited, the man and the woman, when they waited to have sex before they got married, they have a, Oh, they have such a better union. They're, it's just, they don't have all of these comparisons to make, just thinking about it, it's gross.
Farewell, love of mine. I'm hoping to find unconditional love. Divine, the power of unconditional love. That's the name of this show today. So this unconditional love, what I did find, even though my heart was broken because I didn't end up with the one I was made for, my God, the unconditional love of God was able to appease, to heal.
Make better to infiltrate every sinew, every cell, every fiber of my heart, of my being, and take any pain I had regarding that lost relationship away. This is love. The power of God's love. God's love is the agape, the unconditional love that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. talked about, or he talked about a lot.
The agape love, that unconditional love. That's what we should love people with. That's how we can see love in our world and in our society. God's love. Unconditional love. It surpasses and it's stronger than any other love. It's way stronger than romantic love, than a philio friendship love, Eros love, and any other kind of love out there.
Sex love,
God's love is by far the best.
Why? I'm hoping to find unconditional love divine with a faithful soul, so sent. For me, for this very goal, is undying, seize. So what I'm saying is it was as if I don't want any old love. I don't want anyone. I don't want like just anyone. Like I didn't want to settle, but I ended up settling later on in life.
But that was a, it was, it's a deeper story than I can say, but it was a subtle, it was me settling. And it just. It was okay at the beginning, but it didn't end up fun. We didn't end up fun at all. It ended up very sad. One of the saddest times of my life. Yeah. So don't settle. That's my tip for today.
Don't settle. Should I settle for silver, sapphire, or gold? That is a story told. So promising and bold. Why do I doubt the existence of the sea? Is it not I in complete destiny? I'm looking for eternal love to share, making love aware, stable and fair. Brisk air takes me there for my eternal love to share.
I'm talking about the rapture here. I didn't even know I was talking about that. But as I later on in years, when I kept reading this point, I realized, wow, that's the rapture. You're like what rapture? When Christianity, we have a belief that the Lord will capture his people, rescue his people out of this world.
Those who believe in the son of God, Jesus Christ, that is a rapture. And if you want to be a part of that, if you want to get swept away by this brisk air, you want this brisk air to take you there. For your eternal love to share Jesus Christ, your eternal love.
Then all you have to do is believe in him, believe he died for you. I believe he rose again.
Believe he's going to come in, swoop you on out of here.
Yes. And he's coming back to conquer this world for good. Thank you, Lord. Just say, Jesus, I believe in you. Forgive me of all my sins. Cleanse me, wash me, make me whole, make me your child. I want to be a child of God
and you are my Lord. And if you said that and you believe it in your heart, you confess it with your mouth. You are saved by the Savior of the world. My eternal love to share Jesus Christ Yeshua the Messiah Hallelujah, praise God Thank you, Jesus For being here today with us. Your spirit is here with us.
for poem, silver, sapphire, or gold. I appreciate you allowing me to write this poem, Lord. It's so beautiful. It's I would think probably one of the best poems in John's view. If you take a read, you let me know if you, when you buy this book and you read it or you get the audio book, tell me which point you think is the best.
